HOW DO DENTISTS INSTALL DENTAL CROWNS?

First, our dentists will remove a part of your enamel to make space for the new crown to ensure it stays in place once bonded. The dentist removed approximately 1-1.5mm of tooth structure, which is a very negligible amount.

In the next step, we will take intra-oral scans of your teeth using our 3D digital dentistry work flow. These scans will be sent to a dental lab ON SITE, where the technician will use them to create your custom dental crown.

The process will take approximately one week, and in the meanwhile, our dentists will place a digitally milled temporary crown made the same day in your mouth. As soon as the final one is ready, our dentists will remove the temporary crown, and if you are satisfied with the shape, colour, and fit of your new crown, we will bond the new crown to your tooth strongly.
DENTAL BRIDGE
A dental bridge is another fixed method used to replace missing teeth. It requires preparing adjacent teeth (shaving them down in a conical shape), and cementing a prosthesis along the edentulous and prepared teeth, hence the name “bridge.”
